When you submit the GTW Application an email is sent to the Good Turn Weekend Coordinator.  The GTW Coordinator will approve your request or contact you to work out any items that need to be addressed.  Such as:

a.    Camp is full for the weekend you requested.  We are limiting the number of participants in each camp.  Apply early!

b.    The campsite you requested is not available. Apply early!

c.    Your Unit did not fully participate in the previous Good Turn Weekend. The Good Turn Weekends is provided for Units that want to make a real difference toward the quality maintenance and development of the Buckeye Council camps.  They are not for Units that are satisfied to do the minimum to meet the "Good Turn Requirements" of the Camp Honor Program.

d.    Etc.

FOUR

A GTW Application approval (email) will be sent to the applicant.  Copies will be sent to the Buckeye Council Program Secretary, Good Turn Weekend Coordinator and/or Camp Ranger (print out a copy for your records) and bring it to camp with you.  It is your Unit’s approval to participate in the Good Turn Weekend.   Review the information on the approval email.  If any of the information is not correct, please contact the Good Turn Weekend Coordinator at: 330-364-1648 or GTbtrimmer@roadrunner.com  to have the information corrected.  Your review and follow through on needed corrections will help us reduce confusion when you come to camp for the Good Turn Weekend.

Click on the "Pipestone Certif. Form" button on the left side of this page, print out a Roster for the Good Turn Weekend.   Fill it out and bring it to camp.  Include all Scouts and Adults that will be on camp property.  Use "NA" for individuals holding the 5th year Pipestone or not attending summer camp.  This Roster will be used to cover two requirements for checking in for the Good Turn Weekend activities.   As the "Short Term Camp Use Roster" and "Pipestone Good Turn Certification":   You must present the Roster to the Campmaster as soon as you enter onto camp property unless other arrangements are stipulated by the Good Turn Weekend Coordinator for the weekend you are attending.
